Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: …
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

This is a great reminder. Over the past 24 years of marriage the number one challenge for me has been to be kind to my husband at all times. I spend all day out in the work force being kind and taking steps to help people that at times I have forgotten to apply the same principles at home. We tend to be on our best behavior out in public and at home we tend to be more rude or impatient with those we love the most.

Great point, Mary. So true, although sad. Guess that’s why marriage takes work – doesn’t come naturally. Be blessed.
