A special note of gratitude to all of you who have joined my dream of writing. I really enjoy blogging and cannot do it without you, the reader. I appreciate your support in likes and comments on my author page, as well as sharing my posts with your friends. It truly is a dream come true.
I won’t be writing my regular post today. My dad was put on hospice two weeks ago, and has declined drastically over the weekend. I wasn’t able to concentrate to give you my best so will give a more normal post Thursday.
Thanks for your patience and loyalty as I end my journey with my dad. It won’t be much longer now for him to reach his goal of meeting his Maker. He has fought the good fight of cancer now for seven and a half years. He encouraged many other cancer patients during his times of chemo, even though many left before him. He never gave up and prayed for all his new friends. He was a good father to me, but is incoherent now. We’ll be spending time around the clock with him and my mom.
It’s kind of ironic that my husband and I will be attending a cancer care training for pastors next week, if all goes well. Thanks for your support and prayers. ~Jena

Dear Jena,
Your Dad will be greatly missed at church! He was so faithful to the house of the Lord. He was always on the front row when he felt well enough to attend. I love both your Mom & Dad very much! My Daddy and your Daddy will be so blessed to spend eternity in Heaven with Jesus!!!!!
